Follow the procedure below to reset the G5 Intercom Loop Detector if the Headsets are Detecting Cars that are not present:

 

1. Locate and Remove the Cover from the G5 Base-Station (Loosen Screws and Lift Cover UPWARDS)

2. Locate the Loop Detector Board inside the Base-Station

3. Check that the GREEN Power light is ON to show that there is Power to the Loop Detector Board

 

4. If there is NO CAR PRESENT AT THE ORDER-POINT and the Headsets are Beeping as if there is a Car present, the Loop Detector may have Locked ON (the RED Detect Light will be on the Loop Detector Board). To clear this, the Loop Detector will need to be reset.

 

5. The Loop Detector can be reset by either locating and pressing the Loop Detector Reset Button, or removing the Base-Station Power Cable and refitting (to reboot the Base Station)

6. RED Detect Light should go OFF if no Car is present at the Order-Point

 

7. Remember to put the cover back on the Base Station
